The 5-15 utilizes a filtration chamber system with replaceable filter sponge cartridges enhanced with AquaTop's Activated Carbon and Biological Media Trays with maximum surface-area for your beneficial bacteria to colonize and help keep clean water. The FORZA 5-15's innovative and flexible design is perfect to help you eradicate and control free-floating debris and harmful waste from the aquarium in both freshwater and saltwater.
- Use Instructions: 1. Aquatop recommends rinsing the unit and its accessories with clean, fresh water prior to installation2. Prior to installing the Bio-Plates, rinse with clean, fresh water3. Prior to installing the Drop-In Filter Pads, rinse with clean, fresh water until the Run-Off water is clear. This indicates whether the fine dust has been rinsed from the carbon.4. When installing the unit please use the lever located on the exterior bottom of the filter housing to ensure the unit is sitting flush with the aquarium5. Before the unit is turned on, fill the filter box with aquarium water. If the filter box is empty when plugged in, it may not fill itself. This may lead to the pump seizing and voids any and all warranties offered by Aquatop.
